reading response

I chose to read another book in addition to red kayak this week. I was walking around Barnes and Nobles when I saw a book that interested me. It is called Finally Free by Michael Vick, the current quarterback for the philiedelphia ealgles. Through his career I have been watching him and he has grown to be one of my favorite players.
Michael explains that he lived in a bad neighborhood in the projects while his mother and father working two jobs to make sure that Michael and his brothers and sisters had the best life possible. He talks about how his family were very serious about there religion and faith and that without trusting god you could not do anything.
He goes through a lot trying to make himself a better player to make it into the college level and then to the pro level. Once he finally makes it into the Nfl he starts losing his faith in the lord and makes bad decisions. Then he has to rebuild his life and his skills to try to make a comeback. The phileadelphia eagles decide to give him a chance and he has been doing great ever since. I have read 78 pages so far and I can’t seem to get enough of this book.
